I have been really poorly today! I am still quite poorly so loads of sympathy would be appreciated lol! Actually, I am feeling a lot better now than I was earlier, I was up with pains in my stomach in the night. Probably just IBS but sometimes I get it really bad! I am going to bed in a minute to catch up on some sleep.

Anyway, I thought I would launch my 'New Look' blog to cheer myself up. The design is based on that of my website (which I have had for a few years), I thought it would be nice if they matched. The website has only just gone live again after being out of action for a year due to our move to Mullion. I will update it sometime soon but if you want to have a look at my cross stitching, like Marilyn Monroe or just want to have a browse around the rest of it just click the link on the left.

Mark has come home tonight which is nice because he wasn't due home until Friday, he has finished work for the week. We are going to go and get some paint tomorrow to freshen up the hallway as it is looking a bit bedraggled.

Well, there is nothing like being hassled to make a blog entry lol.

We are all settled now and the kids are in school, it is great! So much so that yesterday I felt relaxed enough to get scrapping, I am still feeling 'in the mood' so more scrapping will be done tonight I am sure. I need to use that new camera of mine to get some more photographs really. I couldn't sleep last night because of all the ideas going around in my head! Here are the layouts I did yesterday:

So yesterday was quite productive don't you think?

All our furniture arrived and the place is looking lovely, we just need to buy a couple of mirrors and then I will be very happy :)

Well we have moved in! I am so happy to be back in my own house again :) We have boxes everywhere and loads of unpacking to do but it will be worth it. We should be sort of straight by the end of next week as we have new lounge furniture being delivered on Monday and new furniture for both the kids rooms coming on Tuesday so we can't unpack those rooms until then. I did unpack three boxes of craft stuff today and I still have a full Tote Express to sort out and about another three boxes full of cross stitch, threads, fabrics and books etc to find a home for!!!

I just can't explain how nice it was to cook tea in my own (gorgeous) kitchen tonight - it was a dream. I was thinking that I should hold on to that feeling and remember it when I can't be bothered to cook. It really makes you appreciate the good things about your home when you have to go away from it for a while.

I will be back soon with some more interesting news but at the moment I am shattered and I must go to bed

I have been MIA for a little while because we have been busy getting ready for the move on Thursday. We are getting there! We still have to do the kitchen and to go around the house picking up all the odd bits here and there that haven't fitted into certain boxes and then we will be done. I am hoping to be finished by Tuesday night so that I have Wednesday to do the majority of the cleaning before we leave.

Anyway, I am getting scrapping withdrawal symptons and all my stash is in boxes!!! I probably won't post until I get to Plymouth now - unless I feel like doing it on the laptop (which is what I am doing now). So wish me luck for the move and keep your fingers crossed that there are no hitches!
