I love to scrap and I love to stitch. I also love reading, eating and the odd glass of red wine! I only wish I had more time to do all the things I love. Most of my time is taken up looking after a couple of other things I love and they are my two gorgeous children Ben and Charlotte. They ARE gorgeous, I am not biased, I have been blessed with beautiful children which is a good thing because I have such wonderful subjects for my scrapbooking addiction.

I am married to Mark and we will celebrate our fifteenth wedding anniversary in July - we are just as happy now as when we first met. He would rather I didn't spend any money on scrapbooking or cross stitch stash but if I didn't do that I would be perfect and surely that would be really boring! Anyway, this blog is a sort of diary / gallery and I enjoy updating my blog for myself and my family but any visitors are welcome :o)

Testing, testing....

Just another little test post to see if I can insert a picture.

I have been playing around with a layout today which is for a team layout swap on UKS. The layout is of a little girl who has just left pre-school and is about to start BIG school. I am calling it 'Moving On Up' - I have had m-people singing in my head all day :o)

I have cut some flowers with my craft robo and have got the title sorted as well. I know what papers and colours I am going to use, now I just need to do it!! Maybe tomorrow.

The kids are in bed and hopefully fast asleep. Charlotte didn't want to go to bed today so I left the light on for a little while so that she could play with her doll. Anything to keep her happy as she has been crying all day for no reason other than to get my attention. Ben went to bed like a little angel after I had read their bedtime story to them on his sofa.

Hello World....

Well, I am supposed to be completing my degree in Computing Informatics sometime soon so I thought 'Hello World' was a suitable title for my first / test entry to my blog :o)

I will introduce myself. I am Sarah and I live in Cornwall in the UK. I have only lived here for two months having grown up in Plymouth but I love it! It is so peaceful and the kids love it. I have two of them, kids that is, Ben who is 4 in a few weeks and Charlotte who is 3. They are adorably annoying :o) I love them to bits but they drive me crazy.

I am a scrapbooker and cardmaker. I also love cross stitch and just about any craft that I get the chance to try. My husband is dreading me starting another hobby as it is generally his credit card that gets a bashing rather than mine :o)

That's enough for now, I just thought I would post this introduction and now I am going to go and see how I can pretty up this blog a bit.
